The 6th TWP Labour Law Day addressed one of the most pressing issues in modern labour law: fairness in the workplace. Bullying, discrimination and pay transparency were the focus of this informative and practical event.
Prof. Diana Niksova (University of Innsbruck) provided in-depth insights into the European Pay Transparency Directive and the associated practical challenges for businesses. The high relevance of the topic was reflected in the lively discussions with the participants.
Following this, the employment law team at TWP Rechtsanwälte presented current developments from legal practice: Corinna Müller gave a structured overview of workplace bullying and equal treatment in employment relationships, Simone Rädler highlighted the issue of discrimination against part-time workers, and Alexander Wittwer addressed the sensitive topics of dismissal due to sick leave and discrimination against people with disabilities.
